SCA Provider Trainer Roles

Trainer Recruitment


We are inviting applications from existing Providers of safety and leadership awards to fulfil the role of Trainers. 


The role of a Trainer is to provide orientation and final recommendation to aspirant Safety / Leadership Providers, and to deliver moderation or community of learning events to the existing Safety / Leadership Provider workforce. The National Association Delivery Centre (SCA)  is responsible for appointing appropriate Trainers as required. 


Skilled Trainers are critical to the development of the sport moving forward; they play a key role in the workforce development and future provision of British Canoeing Awarding Body qualifications.

Successful applicants will be appointed for a 3 year period and will be commissioned directly by the National Association and by aspirant Providers as required.
