General points about membership
- Digital Membership Card - new (as of September 2023) Digital membership cards can be downloaded directly to your Apple or Google wallet. We want to reduce unnecessary waste and postage costs by encouraging members to use a digital membership card, however members will also still receive a confirmation email with a PDF membership card and a physical card can be posted on request.
- Under the UK Agreement, membership (other than Supporter or Digital Subscriber) is only available to those living in Scotland or outside the UK. If you live in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, please join the relevant National Association.
- If you have previously been a member of another National Association (Canoe Wales, Paddle UK or the Canoe Association of Northern Ireland) and hold any coaching, performance or safety awards please contact us to advise in order that a copy of your records may be obtained from the other home nation.
- Liability Insurance: Paddle Scotland is part of the British Canoeing liability insurance provided by Marsh | Bluefin Sport. Please note providing safety cover for triathlon style events is not covered by British Canoeing insurance. Visit the Insurance page for more details on coverage.
