Scottish Paddler is the SCA's official magazine, sent to all Full, Recreational and Junior members four times per year. It contains trip reports, news and event information from across Scotland.
Please note only Scottish residents will receive a printed copy in the post; overseas members will receive a digital copy.
When you take out membership with Paddle Scotland, you can choose to purchase an optional craft insurance policy.
Your Paddle Scotland membership includes cover for your Third Party Liability but not cover for any damage to your own craft.
Our craft insurance providers are Noble Marine who offer several benefits to members including:
1. An improved customer experience
2. The ability to purchase craft insurance at any time rather than it being linked to your membership join/renewal date
3. Cover that can accommodate most types of watercraft under a single policy
4. When purchasing, members will have bespoke and individual policy/documentation rather than being part of a block policy
5. A bespoke member's discount is automatically applied as part of your journey
To generate a quote, please visit www.noblemarine.co.uk/boat-insurance/paddle-scotland
If you have your membership and craft insurance set to auto renew (e.g. via direct debit), the craft insurance element will not be renewed and will end on your membership expiry date. You will need to obtain a quote from Noble Marine or another insurance provider.
Any member who has purchased the craft insurance option prior to 29th February 2024 will continue to be valid until the expiry of membership.
For any questions about craft insurance, please contact hello@paddlescotland.org.uk
