Traditionally the toilets and showers at Grandtully Station Park have been shared between the campsite and day visitors. Following redevelopment The Green Building has been completely refurbished with paddlers and other day users in mind.
The campsite for overnight stays is now served by its own building at the far end of the campsite, while 6 new changing rooms, 5 toilets and 5 showers in the Green Building are for the comfort of paddlers and other day visitors. This includes 2 accessible toilet/shower rooms with 1 baby changing room.
The Green Building is open each day between 09:00 and 18:00. People can choose to pay per vehicle per visit or opt to purchase an individual (per person) annual pass. Those who purchase a Grandtully Station Park Annual Pass may gain access outwith the standard times for paddling purposes (see FAQ below).

Paying for day time use at Grandtully Station Park
If you do not hold an individual annual pass (which is the best value option) you may pay per vehicle for day site use, which includes parking, on the day of your visit. You will find QR codes on the signage around the parking area and on the outside of the Green Building. All you need to do is scan the code and pay by Stripe while entering your vehicle licence plate number. We have supplied free wifi in the car park so that even if you don’t get a great mobile signal you can still get online.
The charges cover parking, use of changing rooms and toilets, as well as access to our new ‘Tap & Pay’ showers inside the Green Building.
The charges allow you and your passengers to use the facilities and park your vehicle between 09:00 and 18:00 on one day.
Those who do not travel to Grandtully by vehicle i.e. walkers, runners and cyclists can use the site facilities for 60p per person.

Your individual Grandtully Station Park annual pass allows parking, use of changing rooms and toilets as well as access to our new ‘Tap & Pay’ showers inside the Green Building. WiFi is also provided. This is for the indivivdual who has purchased the pass. If you use the site regularly this is the best value option and covers day use.
An annual pass also gives you the ability to use day facilities earlier or later than the normal day opening times for your paddling sessions. You can request the security code to access the facilities outside of 09:00-18:00. This extended use only applies before and after paddling sessions. Anyone staying overnight needs to book and pay separately for this. This is beneficial for people who paddle/train earlier in the morning or later in the evening.
For single day visits, please follow the signs upon arrival to pay per vehicle.

Anyone.
There are no storage facilities available either at the Grandtully Slalom site or at Grandtully Station Park. Upon completion of the development project, there may be an opportunity for individuals to pay for boat storage.
There is no discount for part-year purchase, other than in year 1 (2024) where the fee is £10.
All annual passes will expire at the end of the day on the 31st of December in the year of purchase.
Since the “green building” was constructed and opened up for use in May 2003 day use charges have been in place for using Grandtully Station Park. These were introduced so that those that were not staying overnight on the campsite would contribute towards the cost of running and maintaining the car park, toilets and showers. Some people paid per-visit whilst it suited others to pay annually - individuals as well as paddlesport providers/organisations. When medium and large events took place organisers paid a fee for use of the site, which also contributed towards the cost of additional parking areas, needed for larger events.
In 2020 the building was required to be closed to all users. As we came out of COVID restrictions, we were fortunate that Paddle Scotland staff successfully obtained NatureScot grants 2021-2023, which allowed us to provide free-of-charge use of the toilets and car park for both the public and for members. From July 2023 to June 2024 the whole site has been closed for building works and no facilities have been provided.
Paddle Scotland has been fortunate to receive several grants for the facility improvement project which have enabled the refurbishment of the existing facilities and the construction of additional facilities. These are “capital” grants towards the building work costs and were secured on the understanding that Paddle Scotland will continue to raise revenue from both camping and day use activities, to ensure that the new facilities are sustainable and will be available for people to enjoy well into the future.
Please call for the code in advance of your visit. Please be mindful that if you require the code for the same day or early the next morning a phone call (on 01796 922010) directly to the campsite during campsite opening hours is the best way to ensure you get this information. Be prepared to be asked for membership details so we can verify your annual pass over the phone.
