We are pleased to announce a new addition to the Scottish Canoe Association (SCA) team as Calum McNicol begins his secondment from sportscotland as part of an agreement to drive new projects and expand capacity. Calum’s extensive experience puts him in a great position to focus on safety awareness and incident management, CPD course delivery, and

he will also be involved in online and practical delivery of courses. Calum’s input will help to meet the significant increase in demand for these courses since the pandemic began.

Calum is a former Senior Instructor at sportscotland and ran his own outdoor activity business in Arran for many years. He is a coach educator and course provider across a spectrum of British Canoeing courses and qualifications.
