This is to create a separate shower and toilet block for people staying overnight and also to refurbish the existing building for everyone else to use for changing, shower and toilets.
Please find details about the project, including plans for the new facilities and project timeline, here.
The project has received several major grants, without which it would not be able to go ahead. Grants, which have already been extended by 12 months, will expire early in the new year. The building project will take ~9 months so it has been necessary to commence work this summer in order to complete the project before grants expire. Due to the extent and location of the works along the site, combined with the long, thin nature of the campsite, it has been necessary to close the whole of the camping area for everyone’s safety.
Please note that parking for day-use remains open, however no overnight stays are possible on any of the campsite and car park. Campsite staff are investigating options for parking etc for the August slalom events. The nearest campsites, as close as 4 miles away, are:
There are currently no toilets on site. The nearest publicly accessible toilets are in Aberfeldy, 4 miles to the west.
Progress updates will be provided via the SCA website and social media. We look forward to sharing the updated site with everyone in 2024.
