Grandtully Facilities Development Update

July 20, 2023

Work started late June on the construction of new shower and toilet facilities at the site as described here.

Two aspects of the work are underway:

1. The existing building is being stripped out completely so that new, solid floors can be installed and the new changing rooms, showers, toilets and baby changing facilities completed. Taking the building apart has shown just how rotten floors and walls actually were.

2. The digging out for the foundations of the new shower/toilet block for people staying overnight on the campsite has also started, in order to get concrete poured and set before the weather changes.

In the meantime, this means that unfortunately the campsite remains closed and no overnight stays are possible. Alternative, nearby sites are linked from here. The work is due to be completed by the end of February - we will keep you informed of progress.
