We understand that these are very strange times for us all and for canoe clubs which are unable to operate normally right now. At a time when we should be ramping up our club and paddling activities we remain in lockdown. This means that for many people it’s a good time to address some of the things that we’ve always planned to do but perhaps not got around to doing. To this end, as part of our support to affiliated clubs, Roger Holmes, our Development Manager is keen to meet with clubs via an online Zoom meeting
We want to take the opportunity to work with clubs on any specific development needs you have identified. This could be anything from putting together a development plan, finding funding for your projects, reviewing and amending your club structure, planning the development or your coaches or reviewing and updating club policies.
If your club is interested in taking advantage of this opportunity please email roger.holmes@canoescotland.org.We would suggest any meeting includes several members from the club joining a zoom meeting that the SCA hosts.

A useful resource is the Club Resources page
on the SCA website that outlines the Well run Clubs Framework. This will help clubs consider and prioritise potential areas for development. Another useful resource is the Covid -19 Resource Hub.
Are you passionate about paddlesports and eager to share your knowledge? We’re offering two upcoming Tutor Orientation Events that could be the perfect next step on your journey.
