The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a formal meeting of British Canoeing members, providing an opportunity to review the work of the organisation over the past 12 months, to discuss and approve the organisation’s finances, assess current progress against the strategy as well as confirm the appointment of Board Directors.

The meeting will start at 10am and all members of British Canoeing, The Scottish Canoe Association, Canoe Wales and the Canoe Association of Northern Ireland are invited to attend.

Following the success of the virtual AGM in 2021 which achieved record attendance, and in line with our new Environmental Sustainability Strategy, the 2023 AGM will be a fully virtual meeting with members given the opportunity to participate in the meeting online.

The virtual meeting will again be hosted on the LUMI Platform to keep proceedings as familiar as possible.

By attending the AGM you will be able to:

  • virtually watch the broadcast of the AGM and
  • vote on the motions on the LUMI platform via Zoom Webinar

In order to view the broadcast on the LUMI platform you will need a desktop PC or laptop
