Mental Health Awareness and Mental Health First Aid courses accepted as CPD

We are pleased to share that we will now automatically be accepting Mental Health Awareness and Mental Health First Aid courses as CPD.

We know that many Instructors, Coaches and Leaders already recognise the importance of mental health training. The training opportunities available help raise awareness of mental health, support you to be able to provide great instructing, coaching and leading experiences to others, as well as supporting you to look after yourself.

You can log onto your membership record, upload your certificate and be automatically awarded 5 or 10 points (if the training was completed in the last 3 years) -

  • Mental Health Awareness – 5 CPD points - this includes eLearning, awareness training or relevant training with guided learning hours of 4 hours (or less)
  • Mental Health First Aid – 10 CPD points – this includes relevant training with over 4 guided learning hours

Log on to your membership record here and submit your certificate. We recommend all Instructors, Coaches, Leaders and Guides stay current through Continuous Professional Development

Note: Mental Health First Aid is not a replacement for emergency/ casualty based First Aid training.
