Grandtully Independent Investigation Update

December 15, 2023

SCA has now received and considered the report into the unauthorised constructions in the River Tay at Grandtully

The independent investigation commissioned by the SCA in August to look into the unauthorised constructions in the River Tay at Grandtully has now concluded. The report produced by the independent investigator, Murray Main, was received by the SCA Board, who met recently to consider the recommendations contained in the report.

The report contains a number of recommendations including disciplinary action against several SCA members who were allegedly responsible for the unauthorised constructions.

The Board approved all recommendations contained in the report.

In accordance with these recommendations and the SCA disciplinary process, disciplinary action will now commence. No further statement will be made whilst disciplinary action is ongoing.

The Board is committed to publishing as much of the investigation report as possible but is unable to do so until disciplinary matters have concluded.
