Grandtully Campsite reopening

Grandtully Campsite - limited reopening - 3rd of July

We are pleased to inform you that Grandtully Campsite will reopen from 3rd July for fully self-contained units only.

The toilet, shower and wash-up facilities will remain closed for the time being.

This is in line with Scottish Government guidance announced 2nd July which permits accommodation for self-contained units as long as all government guidance around physical distancing and hygiene are met. The campsite may need to close again, at short notice, if either the government advice changes or if the SCA determine that the actions of those using the site is not in accordance with Scottish Government guidance.

We have compiled some additional information for people considering staying at the site. You can find all the latest information at canoescotland.org/campsite

Scottish Government guidelines must be followed at all times.
VisitScotland has a list of the restrictions and dates per recovery phases which may help you to decide the safest actions for your household.

Visit nhsinform.scot to use the Symptom Checker before you start your journey to Grandtully Campsite or at any time that you experience symptoms.

The campsite facility building will remain closed. There is no access to toilet, shower, changing or wash up facilities. You can only stay at the Grandtully site if you have (and use) a self-contained unit e.g. caravan or motorhome.

Anyone planning to visit the village of Grandtully for a day trip should take into account that there are no toilet facilities available at the Grandtully Campsite or in the village. Only those booked to stay overnight on the Grandtully site are permitted to be anywhere on the site other than in the outer car park. This is in order to maintain physical distancing. CCTV footage is recorded and will be monitored. Local businesses have not yet reopened so you should still plan any trip around the use of facilities at your own home.
