Wires suspended across Helmsdale River approximately half a mile above the Kildonnan rapid (NC 903 224) where a replacement pedestrian suspension bridge is under construction. At todays low level (0.95m, scrape) the wires were not a hazard - however they could be a hazard at high river levels. The wires are located on a grade 1 section with grassy banks and "should" be easy to portage at high levels - if seen.
