SEPA have control over Freshet releases on larger scale hydro schemes in Scotland. It is important to note that not every river scheme has a scheduled freshet.

We have attempted to pull the most useful information from the SEPA document and present it in a reasonably user-friendly manner. We have included all of the rivers where we know white water paddling is affected by freshet releases.
